Facilities

SQUOLA is located in Palazzo Ramirez de Montalvo, a 17th century palazzo in via dell’Oriuolo just behind the Duomo. The space has been totally renovated with the idea of constructing a technologically advanced yet humanistic learning environment for both students and faculty. Great care and attention has been paid to all aspects of the school’s design. The space houses six state of the art classrooms ranging in capacity from nine to sixty students, a “quiet” study room, student computer lab, faculty offices, outside terrace space and Florence’s only in-house cinema. Wireless internet is available in all areas of the school.

Aula Cinema

This unique tiered cinema and lecture room has a capacity of 50 to 60 persons.

Computer Lab

Ten 24 inch Imac workstations with printing facilities for students.

Study Room

A quiet area for students to study independently.

Classrooms

All classrooms are equipped with whiteboards. Audio-visual equipment is also available on request. (PPT, DVD, CD, overhead and digital projectors)

Outdoor Terrace

A wonderful place to take a break, situated in the center atrium of the palazzo.
